Egyptian Art Exhibit @ CSUSB

Todd and I took the family to what I would call a "Mini Museum". Over at Cal State San Bernardino they have a little Museum and last Saturday was Family Day, so we were all able to get in for free. They had lots of different activities for the kids, they even got a free art kit.
It was very interesting, and a good *free* way to spend the afternoon.

Here is Lizzie writing Hieroglyphics on her scroll
.

This is a gold mummy face plate and their foot plate.

This is the worlds oldest dress. It's dated about 2800BC. It is basically like a beaded net, so I hope they wore it over something. Trevor is cracking me up, he looks like such a hooligan in this picture.

Rach, you're always in the know. I've never heard of the mini museum. We'll have to try it out soon.

You guys are such a cute family. How did you know it was family day? I actually knew that museum was there since alot of my classes were near it.

It was in the paper. Mrs. Morales told us about it at the parent meeting.
